Patient Transport

The Scottish Ambulance Service Non-Emergency Service is a critically important core service.

With almost 1.6 million patient journeys carried out every year as we transport people to, and from hospitals, clinics and day centres, our aim is to provide a seamless patient journey whether in busy urban locations or remote rural areas.

To ensure that we continue to understand, and meet, the needs of our patients, we continuously review the way in which we provide and deliver Non-Emergency Services to make them even more flexible and patient friendly.
