The Scottish Ambulance Service is an integral part of NHS Scotland with over 60 year’s experience in providing pre-hospital emergency life support.

Are you an enthusiastic team player? Do you see yourself as part of a flexible professional workforce? You must hold a full UK driving licence and be licensed to drive vehicle categories C1 and D1. Two Higher grades or equivalent, and a current first aid certificate are desirable although all applicants will be required to sit and achieve a satisfactory result in the Scottish Ambulance Service entry examinations.

As a Relief Technician, there may be a requirement to work at other stations within the Division, therefore candidates must be able to demonstrate a flexible approach to changing work patterns.

The starting salary for this post is £15,988 per annum, rising to £17,732 per annum on successful completion of the training and probationary period. This will increase in annual increments to £21,318 per annum, in line with NHS Scotland knowledge and skills framework.
